The Employee Experience
Upon starting the PIP process employees receive an email asking for acknowledgement of the PIP.
Upon acknowledging, the PIP process has officially begun. An email will be sent stating that the PIP is now active and in progress.
Here's what you can see in a PIP as an employee:
Check-ins - The schedule of check-ins along with their dates. It also contains the plan duration, remaining days, and when the PIP ends.
PIP Summary - A summary on an the general goals and reason for the PIP.
Next Meeting - A reminder for the upcoming check-in.
My Manager - They will be working with you throughout the PIP process.
Goals & Objectives - A summary of the performance goals defined for the plan.
Upon clicking the Check-in tab, you can see a list view of check-ins with their status and schedule. Click on a Check-in for a more detailed view.
A Check-in is where scheduled meetings happen in the PIP.
Protips - These are AI generated guides on what to discuss during a check-in. These tips take into account the PIP details and previous Shared Notes.
Shared Notes - These are notes an employee and manager can add during a check-in. This will help in documentation and provide information for future check-ins. An email will also be sent upon adding a shared note.
Sentiments - This a metric to show how the employee and manager feels about the overall progress of the PIP process.
Current Check-ins - This will let you know where you are at in the PIP Process.
