Managing Check-ins

Written by Carlo Arazas

Check-ins can be accessed once a PIP is acknowledged by an employee. Meetings are automatically created based on the PIP timeline and frequency of meetings.

šŸ’”Check-ins are displayed in your local time, including time zone information for clarity in scheduling!

Accessing Check-ins

Access Check-ins by opening a PIP and clicking on the Check-ins tab.

What can I do in a check-in as a Manager/HR Lead?

  • Protips - These are AI generated guides on what to discuss during a check-in. These tips take into account the PIP details and previous Shared Notes.

  • Private Notes - These are notes that HR Leads/Managers can use for check-ins that are not shared with the employee. You can use it to write talking points or notes during a check-in.

  • Shared Notes - These are notes an employee and manager can add during a check-in. This will help in documentation and provide information for future check-ins. An email will also be sent upon adding a shared note.

  • Sentiments - This a metric to show how the employee and manager feels about the overall progress of the PIP process.

  • Current Check-ins - This will let you know where you are at in the PIP Process.

Managing Check-ins

As an HR Lead or Manager, you can change the schedule of check-ins by clicking on a check-in and clicking on the date below. Edit to your agreed upon date and click "Submit".

Overdue check-ins can be marked as "Completed" after it has passed. Simply go to the check-in, click the check-in status button and select Completed.

šŸ’”Note: "Completed" PIPs change to read-only to ensure no changes are made after completion!
